The Kohl’s Buckle Up to Grow Up car seat program provides car seat education classes, car seat installation events and car seat inspection stations for parents and caregivers in the Sacramento community

Throughout the year, parents, caregivers and community organizations participate in our multi-lingual car seat classes that provide comprehensive instruction on how to properly install and use child safety seats.  Monthly classes are available in English and Spanish. Classes taught in Russian and Hmong are also available through a number of our community partnerships.

Each year the child passenger safety program sponsors multiple car seat check-up events at Kohl’s Department store locations throughout the Sacramento area. Child passenger safety experts inspect the condition and installation of car seats, making the necessary adjustments to help keep the children of Sacramento safer.
