UC Davis Hospice Recognition Societies

Recognition societies honor and thank patients, friends, faculty, staff and alumni who help advance UC Davis Hospice's mission through generous financial support. Society members enjoy a number of benefits, including invitations to members-only events and special university communications. For all societies, membership is determined by gifts in a fiscal year, which is from July 1 to June 30.

Caring Hands

Donors who contribute $1,000 annually through a one-time gift or five year pledge are admitted to the Caring Hands Society and receive the following:

  • Invitations to health system events and programs
  • Membership pin
  • All employee donors will be admitted at this level (unless they qualify for Compassionate Hands)

Compassionate Hands

Donors who contribute $5,000 annually through a one-time gift or five year pledge are admitted to the Compassionate Hands Society and receive the following:

  • Invitation to an exclusive lunch hosted by Dr. Jack MacMillan, medical director 
  • Invitations to health system events and programs
  • VIP entrance to “Celebrate Life!”
  • Membership pin
