Child Life — The Child Life Program at UC Davis Medical Center has a staff of specialists who are experts in minimizing the trauma and anxiety of hospitalization and strengthening the coping skills of hospitalized kids. Using prescribed recreational therapy techniques, they calm, entertain and encourage young patients, engaging them in fun activities that give them respite from their medical regimen.
Clinical pastoral services — The purpose of Clinical Pastoral Services is to provide in-depth spiritual comfort, guidance, support and counseling for patients, their families and staff in times of physical, emotional and spiritual crisis.
Home Care Services — Our mission is to provide exemplary home care in a model that addresses the diverse physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs which accompany the healing process.
Hospice — Our Hospice program provides care for terminally ill patients who wish to remain at home. Hospice care involves support for patients and their loved ones. It is not so much a place, but rather an approach to health care emphasizing symptom management while helping patients and families to cope with psychosocial and spiritual issues.
Medical Interpreting — Oral interpreting within all hospital departments and clinics medical interpreting services provides oral interpretation to hospital and clinics in person, over the phone or via teleconferencing. Our services can be accessed by utilizing the automated Interpreting Request system or by calling 734-2321.

Patient Relations — The UC Davis Health System's Patient Relations department represents hospital administration and serves as a liaison between patients and their health care and ancillary service providers, working to identify solutions to questions, concerns, and problems that may arise. All discussions between patients, family members, and the patient relations coordinators are confidential.
Pharmacy — The Pharmacy Department is responsible for the procurement, control and distribution of medications throughout the UC Davis Health System. It also guides, monitors and quality assures the use of medications under the auspices of the health system's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
