Supporting the next generation of health professionals
UC Davis School of Medicine and the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis recruit the best and brightest students with the drive and commitment to become exceptional clinicians, innovative scientists and leaders in their fields of study.
Our students have a rich diversity in backgrounds, experiences and educational interests, but share one common denominator: a passion for advancing health in our community and around the globe.
Your investment in these future health professionals enables UC Davis to establish substantial scholarship endowments that will attract and reward a greater number of exceptional students. Scholarships also provide tuition relief, which is especially important since a quarter of UC Davis' medical and nursing students come from backgrounds where financial resources are extremely limited.

- The J.T. “Simon” Lie Memorial Scholarship is awarded to medical students who have demonstrated superior scholastic achievement and have performed public service or leadership.
- The Loren D. Carlson Endowed Scholarship is awarded to one fourth-year medical student to fund activities associated with research.
