Advancing toward a cure
In 1998, a group of dedicated families turned their vision of hope for answers to autism into a house of dreams — the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute. Today, the M.I.N.D. Institute is home to a collaborative community of leaders in their respective areas of expertise — from neuroscience and education to molecular biology and developmental pediatrics.
While progress has been made toward understanding the causes and developing improved treatments for autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, there is so much more to do. Philanthropic support provides the financial stability needed to strengthen the M.I.N.D. Institute, enhancing and leveraging our research and clinical capabilities. Every donation has an immediate impact, providing a permanent fund to expand the Institute's research, clinics and education programs.
