Eliminating the suffering and death due to cancer
UC Davis Cancer Center is steadily advancing its mission: Our superior patient care is nationally recognized. Our clinical trials program is one of the nation's largest. Our regional education and outreach efforts are expanding; and our nearly 200 research scientists are working on more than 300 projects aimed at defeating cancer in our lifetime.
Private philanthropy is critical to sustain the momentum and achieve the National Cancer Institute's goal of eliminating the suffering and death due to cancer by 2015. A philanthropic gift to UC Davis Cancer Center will play an important role in helping our researchers, physicians and other health-care providers in the fight against cancer. Contributions support ongoing cancer research, state-of-the-art medical and research equipment, information and resources for patients and families, as well as other Cancer Center major initiatives.
