UC Davis Medical Center
Owned and operated by the UC Davis School of Medicine, the UC Davis Medical
Center is a JCAHO-accredited hospital licensed for 577 beds. It offers a full
range of inpatient services, diagnostic services, and ambulatory care programs.
UC Davis Medical Center provides comprehensive health-care services to the
Sacramento metropolitan area and serves as a referral center for inland Northern
California. As the only Level I regional trauma center in the Sacramento area,
it is one of the busiest such facilities in the United States. Many other
specialized programs exist as UC Davis Medical Center strives to respond to
changing health-care needs and to fulfill its mission as a teaching hospital.
