The ERAS application season for 2014-2015 begins September 15th, 2014.

Applications and interviews for the UC Davis Network of Family Medicine Residency Programs are coordinated through a centralized Network Office located in Sacramento.

The Network Office will begin reviewing applications on October 1st, 2014. Inquiries regarding your application status will be returned after that date.

Each of the six civilian Network Residency Programs has its own application criteria. Review the application criteria for each program (including criteria for IMG applicants) via the links below:

    The residency programs in the UC Davis Network only accept applications received through ERAS--the Electronic Residency Application Service (AAMC). submit an ERAS application here Submit a separate ERAS application for each program in which you have interest.   • UC Davis Applicant Eligibility Criteria

    • Medical school graduation within the last 5 years.
    • Applicant must have some type of U.S. inpatient experience (minimum of 4 weeks) within the last 5 years.
    • No minimal score on Step exams, but we allow only 1 fail per written test, and no fails on Clinical Skills exam.
    • IMG's must have ECFMG certificate and PTAL letter on file to be eligible for an interview.
    • We accept EAD's or J1 visas sponsored through ECFMG.

    Interview and Itinerary

    Welcome to the UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento. Upon arrival for your interview day, please park in the parking structure adjacent to the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Center (ACC). Enter the ACC and take the elevator to the second floor, suite 2320, conference room 2306. Your intinerary for the interview day will be as follows:

     

    8:30 - 8:50 am                   Check-In, ACC 2306

    8:50 – 10:10 am                Meet with Program Director & Resident Host

    10:15 - 10:45 am               Breakfast with Department Faculty Members

    10:50 - 11:55 am               Interview with Faculty and Resident

    12:00 - 1:00 pm                 All Applicants Lunch with Residents

    1:00 - 2:30 pm                   Huddle / Clinic & Hospital Tour (Resident Host)

    2:30 pm                             End of Interview Day / FM/OB applicants to OB/GYN Dept

     

    Interviewees are invited to join current residents for dinner on Thursday evening throughout the interview season.
