Gregory S. Young is a developmental psychologist and research associate at the M.I.N.D. Institute, University of California, Davis. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maine, where he studied with Dr. Janice Zeman in research on emotional development and social competence. Currently, Dr. Young provides data management, processing, and statistical analysis expertise for a number of longitudinal studies examining the early identification and treatment of Autism. He also manages personnel and daily lab operations for numerous studies, and provides mentoring and consultation to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. His current research interests center on the use of eye-tracking technology as a way to assess visual attention, perception, and cognitive processing in infants, early language development, and imitation in infants with neurodevelopmental disorders.
