Dermatological Surgery - Other Non-Melamoma Skin Cancers

Overview

Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma represent approximately 96 percent of all non-melanoma skin cancer.  Rare skin cancers include:

  • Cutaneous lymphoma
  • Kaposi’s Sarcoma
  • Merkel Cell Carcinoma
  • Soft tissue sarcomas
  • Tumors of the adnexal structures (hair follicles, sebaceous glands, sweat glands)
