Cindy Chambers, MD, MAS, MPH
Dr. Chambers believes in providing exceptional medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic care, focusing on integrated skin heath and wellness for both her adult and pediatric patient populations. She strives to connect with every patient on a personal level, allowing patients to feel at ease and fostering the development of long-term relationships and has consistently received outstanding marks from both patients and peers.
Dr. Chambers is a board certified Dermatologist and has been affiliated with UC Davis since 2006, where she completed her medical, post graduate clinical research and residency training. Prior to this, she received additional masters level and fellowship training in clinical research, public health and epidemiology from the UC Davis School of Medicine, the George Washington University School of Medicine and Public Health and the California Department of Public Health.
Her clinical expertise includes skin cancer screening and treatment, adult and pediatric medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, psoriasis, eczema, acne, cosmetic and laser skin surgery and integrated skin health and wellness.
Dr. Chambers additionally maintains an active role in medical student and resident education as well as clinical and scientific medical research, allowing her to stay on the cutting edge of skin disease and state of the art treatment and care. Her academic and research interests include psoriasis, eczema, acne, quality of life and the psychological burden of skin disease, telemedicine/teledermatology, epidemiology/public health, cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology, and integrated skin health/wellness. She has presented at numerous scientific meetings as well as been a co-author on multiple scientific publications and book chapters related to these topics
