- AT Consortium
The AT Consortium includes key stakeholders in the community as well as from the Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (CEDD). The Consortium is chaired by CEDD faculty member Kathy Gee, PhD. The Consortium is working to expand community partnerships, develop AT training opportunities, improve access to AT, and obtain funding for establishment of an AT Service Center.
- AT research
Under the leadership of Randi Hagerman, MD, CEDD is working on research projects in the area of advancing cognitive technology. One is a Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC) grant on “Use of AT to Expand Written Expression in Individuals with Neurodevelopment Disorders.” Dr. Hagerman is also working with Dr Greg Niemeyer at UC Berkeley on the development of video balance and learning games for children or adults with Fragile X and/or Fragile X-associated Tremor Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS).
