  • Family Village DD Information and Resources

    Family Village brings together thousands of online resources in an organized, easy-to-use directory. The Library Link has information on over 300 diagnosis and assistive technology, legal rights and legislation, special education, leisure activities and much more.

  • DisabilityInfo.gov

    The disabilityinfo.gov website, a collaborative product among twenty-two federal agencies, contains comprehensive information on cross-cutting issue areas including employment, benefits, housing, transportation, health care, education, civil rights and technology.

  • National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities

    This Center, which is funded by the Office of Special Education in the US Department of Education, serves as a central source for information on disabilities in children and youth. The site provides information in English and Spanish on specific disabilities, the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), No Child Left Behind (as it relates to children with disabilities), and information on effective practices.

  • Center for Disease Control Parent Portal 
    Organizes information for parents and provides resources from across CDC making it easier for parents to find what they are looking for. A source for credible, accurate information in helping parents raising healthy kids and providing a safe home and community.  A resource for diseases and conditions that can occur, and for developmental milestones and schedules.

  • Association of University Centers on Disabilities

    University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities are in every state and territory. Centers work with people with disabilities, members of their families, state and local government agencies, and community providers in projects that provide training, technical assistance, service, research, and information sharing, with a focus on building the capacity of communities to sustain all their citizens.

  • UCLA Tarjan Center

    UCLA’s Center For Excellence in Developmental Disabilities focuses on disabilities and the arts, education, health, and social and civic engagement.

  • USC University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities

    USC UCEDD at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles provides leadership in strengthening family-centered, consumer responsive, culturally-competent services and systems for the benefit of individuals and their families.

  • National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD)

     NCBDDD is a project of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The website provides information on the prevention of disabilities, and specific disabilities.

  • NCBDDD: Learn the Signs. Act early.

    This website explains how to measure your child’s growth (from birth to 5 years) in terms of how he plays, learns, speaks and acts. A delay in any of these areas could be a sign of a developmental problem. The earlier it’s recognized the more you can do to help your child reach his full potential.
