The organization aims to increase awareness of prenatal alcoholic exposure and create a society supportive of persons living with FASD. The website has information for educators, expectant mothers, and health care professionals. There is also information about living with FASD and current legislation concerning prenatal alcoholic exposure and FASD.
The FASD Clinic at UW developed a systematic approach to diagnosis, the manual for which is available on this site along with other resources. The goals of the unit are to research fetal alcohol and drug effects throughout the life span, disseminate information on FAS, provide consultation for those affected by prenatal exposure to alcohol, and provide training in human behavioral teratology.
