T32 Program - Eligibility Requirements

Medical students and basic science pre-doctoral students interested in developing careers in multidisciplinary clinical and translational research are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Requirements for Medical Students

  1. UC Davis medical student in good standing
  2. Strong academic credentials and good communication skills
  3. Ability to commit full time effort to the training program for the entire period of funding
  4. Proposed research project must be relevant to human health
  5. Interest in developing a career in multidisciplinary, translational biomedical research
  6. Identification of a faculty mentor and strong mentor support

Eligibility Requirements for Graduate Students

  1. UC Davis predoctoral graduate student in good standing
  2. Strong academic credentials and good communication skills
  3. Ability to commit to all requirements of the training program, including an intensive 5-week summer didactic session (requiring approximately 80% time)
  4. Proposed research project must be relevant to human health
  5. Interest in developing a career in multidisciplinary, translational biomedical research
  6. Identification of a faculty mentor and strong mentor support
