Imaging

The imaging component conducts general radiology, imaging and nuclear medicine imaging services for CCRC investigators.

Imaging services

The goal of the Imaging Core is to encourage CCRC investigators to make use of the advanced, quantitative imaging methods that the CCRC offers.

If you need imaging services, contact Heather Russell, Acting Radiology Manager, to discuss the study requirements. All imaging studies performed at the Sacramento VA Medical Center require the VA contracting officer to write a service contract for reimbursement.

Image Archiving

All Radiology and Nuclear Medicine images are stored on a STENTOR PAC's imaging system at the VA. Physicians in other units than the Radiology Department can review images at their desktops.
