The CCRC is located on the fourth floor of the Sacramento VA Medical Center in Mather, about 10 miles east of the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento (Get Directions). The nine-bed facility consists of three double and three single-patient rooms, a designated metabolic kitchen, a core laboratory, a body composition unit, and videotaping facilities. The patient rooms are flexibly designed to allow for inpatient and outpatient activities, including invasive clinical procedures (i.e., hemodynamic monitoring, endoscopy, biopsy). Adjacent to the CCRC is a state-of-the-art imaging facility including PET, MRI and standard radiology equipment available to CCRC users.Link To Map of VA Med Center

CCRC TICON is located close to the main UC Davis Medical Center campus, and includes examination rooms, an interview room, a phlebotomy room, DEXA scanner, and laboratory facilities for sample processing. Studies that require minimally invasive procedures, such as consenting/screening, interviews, phlebotomy, some drug administration, physical examinations, and counseling/education, can be conducted at this location.Link To Map of TICON
CCRC staff is available to support research activities throughout the UC Davis Health System, the VA Northern California Health System, and communities within Sacramento and neighboring counties, inlcuding particpants' homes.
