Bidder's Conference January 23, 2009

As a result of multiple recent inquiries following the release of CTN RFP #2008-001, we are informed that it would be beneficial to host a Bidder's Conference. Accordingly, we are announcing that the CTN Consortium (CTN-C) will hold a Bidder's Conference on January 23rd, in Sacramento, at the UC Davis Medical Center main campus. Notifications will be given via the Vendor email list and also posted on this site. A toll-free conference line will also be available for remote access.

A principal purpose of the conference is to provide a venue where interested vendors can meet to discuss the formation of consortia. Multiple vendors have expressed interest in participating in the submission of a proposal, but due to the limited scope of their coverage area, are not currently capable of meeting the statewide scope requirements without collaborating with additional partners. In order to accommodate vendor-vendor communications, the final hour of the Conference will be devoted to an unstructured, informal forum during which potential Bidders may discuss potential collaborations. NOTE: in order to maintain strict vendor neutrality, aside from providing a venue for discussion UCDHS, CTN-C management and staff will not actively participate in facilitating or advising on the formation of consortia or associated issues.
