Neonatal Cardiology: What to Know While they Grow
The Neonatal Cardiology course is designed to enhance the learner’s knowledge regarding the types of prenatal Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), how a diagnosis is determined and the educational needs of the family. In addition, this course will cover cardiomyopathy, nursing care and discharge needs of the CHD patient prior to surgical intervention and the use of Near-infrared spectroscopy.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 6.5 contact hours.
The University of California, Davis Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Community registrants may register for this class by submitting a registration form with the $98 course fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.
