Patricia J. Campbell, R.N., B.S.N.
Tish received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska in 1985.
Since coming to UC Davis Health System in 1992, she has worked as a clinical Resource Nurse in the Neuro-Surgical ICU and in the Department of Neurology as the Stroke Program Nurse. She has been involved in many hospital-based committees such as EMR Physician / Clinician Order Entry, Evidenced Based Practice, Preceptor Committee, as well as numerous stroke and brain injury research studies.
Tish has given podium and poster presentations at the local, national and international conferences such as Iceland, Italy, and Denmark. She has also co-authored a review article on the Critical Care Nurses role in the treatment of Vasospasm, and has been the program coordinator for the Neuroscience Update Conference at UC Davis Health System for the past 10 years.
Prior to coming to UC Davis Health System, Tish worked as a staff and administrative nurse in the cardiothoracic medical/surgical ICU at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, CA. and on the medical and pediatric units at Memorial Medical Center.
Awards include Critical Care Nurse of the Year and Best Teacher of the Year. Tish is interested in evidenced-based practice, research, and precepting in the Art of Nursing.
