Brian Underwood studied Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach and graduated with a degree in General Science. Before moving to the Sacramento area in 2004, Brian worked for Nestlé and Hewlett Packard as part of a team of deployment engineers assisting in the migration of 13,000 desktop and laptop computers located throughout North America from Windows NT to Windows 2000.
Brian joined the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing (CPPN) in 2004 and has been involved in developing the CPPN website, administering various Learning Management System's (LMS) and has been the department's computer resource specialist (CRS). Brian supports staff with UC Learning Center, develops eLearning courses, coordinates classes and maintains the CPPN website.
Brian is interested in computer programming and website development. Brian has worked on developing many of the Patient Care Services websites including Center for Professional Practice of Nursing, Nursing at UC Davis, Center for Nursing Research and Patient Care Services.
