The goal of this course is to expand the knowledge nurses, pharmacists, dieticians and social workers that provide care for transplant and pulmonary hypertension patients and their families. Topics will include:
- Diagnosis and treatment of kidney rejection in transplanted patients.
- Etiology, pathophysiology and diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension, with a focus on Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension.
- Medical and surgical therapies patient education.
- Review of neurovascular assessment with a focus on distinguishing between normal and abnormal findings.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
