Restraints - Safe and Suitable for your Patient?

This is the second class offered in a series of patient safety classes for nurses at all practice levels in the hospital. This course will include lecture and a simulation case-study format. This class will cover best practices in restraint usage including identification, application, intervention, documentation and communication. This class will provide staff the knowledge, skills and attitude to utilize restraint’s safely through patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, teamwork and collaboration.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
