Course description

This course will enhance the learner’s knowledge of advanced concepts in caring for infants with pulmonary hypertension. This course will provide the learner with advanced knowledge of fetal circulation, including fetal shunts, and transition to neonatal circulation. Advanced concepts in pathophysiology, management and treatment modalities associated with acute and chronic pulmonary hypertension will be presented. The learner will also gain advanced knowledge in treatment and outcomes of infants with pulmonary vein stenosis.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.1 contact hours.

The UC Davis Health Center for Professional Practice of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.

Community registrants

$47 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking
