Professional Governance - Next Step
Course description
The Nursing Clinical Practice Council is presenting this class to help the Unit Based Practice Councils, as well as any interested staff members, to become more familiar with Professional Governance and to move forward with their projects and plans. This course is designed to assist councils to achieve more efficient meetings, how to organize and manage a project, and to understand Peer Review and how it applies to the bedside nurse.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
Registration
Registration is available in the UC Learning Center. Search for the course number and click Register on the date you wish to attend. Please cancel your registration if you are unable to attend as space is limited.
This class is for UC Davis Health System employees only.

Parking
Marriott Hotel: Staff should park in their normal parking area or in lot 12 across the street from the hotel with a UC Davis parking permit. Free parking is also available at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.
MIND Institute: Parking is available in lot 25, next to the MIND Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $6.
