Course description
This class is part 2 of the Preceptor Training program. It is not necessary to take the Part 1 class before attending this class. Along with Part 1, this class is designed for those new to or experienced in precepting new nurses and students. Topics in this interactive class include: Assessment of new nurse, developing and implementing an orientation plan, communication and conflict management, and preceptee evaluation. The content of this class complements that of the Part 1 class.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 6.75 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Parking
Parking is available in lot 25, approximately one block from the Broadway Building on 50th Street adjacent to the MIND Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $6.
