Course description

Participants will be able to discuss the importance of peer review as part of professional nursing practice, the ability to describe the seven foundational elements of peer review and be able to identify appropriate opportunities for peer review. Participants will also be able to identify barriers to giving and receiving timely and appropriate feedback.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.5 contact hours.

The University of California, Davis Medical Center is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
