Course description

The purpose of this foundational course is to enhance the health-care provider’s knowledge of psychological first aid and caring strategies, which can help support colleagues that care for chronically or critically patients. This course will also cover strategies and structure for creating volunteer peer support teams under the auspices of unit-based practice councils.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 5.0 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

UC Davis employees

$70 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested fourteen days prior to class to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date. If the provider cancels the course a full refund will be provided.

Parking
