Pediatric Cardiac Core, Day 1

The goal of the Pediatric Cardiac Core series is to enhance the knowledge amongst attendees on the care of the post-operative pediatric cardiac patient. Participants may register for one or both days. Topics to be covered include:
Day 1: Overview of EKG Rhythms, use of pacemakers, drips and drugs utilized in the post-op cardiac patient, transition from the OR to PCICU, effects of cardiopulmonary bypass, deep hypothermia and circulatory arrest, intracardiac lines, echo for bedside nurses and repair of acynotic common heart defects.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 6.58 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.
$65 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.
