This course provides an overview of the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) and the operation of the Hospital Command Center (HCC) during emergencies. The course includes hands-on training and use of HICS forms and tools. The course prepares all levels of hospital management to meet Joint Commission standard's and NIMS compliance objectives. This class is by invitation only for UC Davis Health employees who are part of the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS). Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 4.0 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
