Falls - Keeping your patient’s safe is the first in a series of patient safety classes for nurses at all practice levels in the hospital. This course will include lecture and a simulation case study format. This course will cover best practices in fall prevention strategies including identification, intervention, documentation and communication. Falls- Keeping your patient’s safe will provide staff the knowledge, skills and attitude to prevent falls through patient- centered care, evidence based practice, teamwork and collaboration.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
