This course is designed for those individuals interested in advancing their professional role by becoming a facilitator for the Nurse Residency Program. Participants must have at least 2 years experience as an RN and have completed Preceptor Training Part 1 and 2 prior to attending the Facilitator Training class.
Participants will learn to facilitate the transition of new graduate nurses into their UC Davis Health System roles. Teaching strategies include lecture presentations/group discussion/ and navigation of online resources.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.5 contact hours.
The University of California, Davis Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.
