Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies (CRRT) in the ICU

This course will focus on CRRT; it will include instruction on theory, equipment demonstration and practice with the equipment.
Theory will cover
- Definition of various continuous renal replacement therapies.
- Patient selection for CRRT.
- Nursing management of a patient on CRRT.
- Demonstration of CRRT equipment.
- Equipment alarm and trouble shooting.
- Documentation during a CRRT treatment.
C.E. contact hours
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 7.0 contact hours.
The University of California, Davis Medical Center is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
