This course is designed for UC Davis hospital-based nurses and respiratory therapists who work with children, age 10 – 18 years. Upon completion of this course, participants will have a better understanding of asthma in the pediatric population including pathophysiology, comorbidities associated with asthma and management strategies. Use of the Pediatric Asthma Score /Tool (PAS) and the UC Davis Medical Center Pediatric Asthma Medical Pathway will be discussed.

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 6.5 contact hours.
Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 20 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.
