Demolition History
Sites lost to make way for the new
To make room for theĀ Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion, a number of buildings at UC Davis Medical Center were demolished.
The structures included the Boiler Plant, a1920s-era building that once helped furnish power for the medical center, and Camellia Cottage, built during the Great Depression with funds provided by the federal Works Progress Administration. Other buildings once housed administrative offices for different departments, medical clinics and a juvenile hall.
