Mentoring for Success achievements

  • Rose Opinaldo, Tower 4 ENT, recently completed her B.S.N.

  • Charmaine Carolino, Tower 6 CICU, serves on the Evidence Based Practice Critical Care Committee and the CICU Primary Nurse Council Committee.

  • Eric Moore, Patient Care Resources, expects to complete his M.S.N. in August 2006.

  • Jim Denman, Rosa Asad, and Chris Davis, East 5 Neuroscience, developed an Aphasia training tool for nurses. Jim and Rosa will be presenting their research project at the Sigma Theta Tau conference in Montreal in July 2006.

  • Paul Fankhanel, ANII for Patient Care Services, worked with Aida Calpo to develop the STAN program, and he is also attending the Leadership Series classes offered through UC Training and Development.

  • Joleen Lonigan, Davis 7 Pediatrics, was recently promoted to CNIII status.

  • Jim Hill, training coordinator for Patient Care Services, is pursuing an M.S.N.
