Course description
This workshop will demonstrate the use of reiki as a technique for relaxation, stress reduction and pain management. This type of touch therapy can be used as an adjunctive tool to alter the perception of pain. This class will include the demonstration and return demonstration of the reiki exercises and how to use reiki to improve patient comfort.

Course materials
Please bring an exercise/backpacking mat to lie down on.
Prerequisite
Participants must have completed a Reiki, Level I class.
C.E. credit
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 14.4 contact hours. Participants must attend all four days to receive C.E. credit.

UC Davis employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.
Community registrants
$144 registration fee. Refund must be requested five days prior to class date and will be subject to a $25 service charge.

Parking
Parking is available in parking lots 14 and 17 on 2nd avenue. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $4 in lot 14.
