Course description
This course will prepare registered nurses to care for pediatric patients receiving CRRT.
The participant will be able to
- Define the different types of continuous renal replacement therapies (CRRT).
- Discuss advantages and disadvantages of CRRT.
- Identify the major components of the dialysis machine.
- Define the responsibilities fro the dialysis and PICU nurses.
C. E. credit
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 7.8 contact hours.
