Course description
The Emergency Nurses’ Association Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) is a two-day course designed to provide core level trauma knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. Content is presented through lectures and skills stations.
E.N.A. will issue a card verifying the successful completion of the TNCC. Expiration of verification occurs four years from the first day of the month in which the card was issued.

Course materials
Textbook, the TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course Provider Manual 6th Edition, and directions to UC Davis Medical Center will be sent to participants approximately 30 days prior to the course.
Prerequisite
Only registered nurses may attend this TNCC course. Six months of trauma experience is recommended.
C. E. credit
Continuing education contact hours are authorized by the Emergency Nurses' Association through the Central Regional Accreditation Board (American Nurses’ Association). Provider (E.N.A.) approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 2322 for 14.42 contact hours.

Refund policy
The E.N.A. registration fee of $60 will be retained. A $60 materials fee will be assessed if the textbook has been given to the registrant. No refunds will be given after one month before the course date. If the provider cancels the course, full refunds will be given to registrants.

Parking
Free parking is available on 50th Street during the weekend. Parking is also available in lot 25, approximately one block from the Broadway Building on 50th Street next to the M.I.N.D. Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $4 ($2 weekend rate).
