2010 class calendarEMR – Where Do I Chart That?
Course description
This course is designed to assist the bedside nurse to revisit where to chart that important information. Focus will be on the hands-on of the where, what and why of EMR documentation. This class is designed to assist nurses in updating their documentation skills and review where data is documented.
Topics include
- Examine the purpose and history of documentation.
- Review legal issues associated with EMR documentation.
- Demonstrate tips and techniques for documenting in the EMR.
- Review charting errors to avoid.
- Provide an over view of nursing documentation trends and the future.
C.E. credit
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 2.0 contact hours.

Parking
