Course description

This course will focus on CRRT; it will include instruction on theory, equipment demonstration and practice with the equipment.

Theory will cover

  • Definition of various continuous renal replacement therapies.
  • Patient selection for CRRT.
  • Nursing management of a patient on CRRT.
  • Demonstration of CRRT equipment.
  • Equipment alarm and trouble shooting.
  • Documentation during a CRRT treatment.

C. E. credit

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 8.0 contact hours.

UC Davis Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.

Community registrants

$120 registration fee. Refund must be requested five days prior to class date and will be subject to a $25 service charge.
