Course description
This renewal class meets Joint Commission requirements for UC Davis Health System staff and is recommended for certification of internal UC Davis Health System health-care providers only. Course curriculum follows the new science and guidelines based on national research released in 2005. Class size is limited; please sign up early. Please call to cancel registration if you are unable to attend.
CNE certificates of completion will be issued to participants who correctly demonstrate skills on the mannequins.
If you need an AHA CPR card you should take an AHA Health-Care Provider CPR class.

Online CPR module
Staff must complete the online CPR module, which includes watching a video, reviewing content and an exam. When the online module is complete, staff will print a certificate of completion and attend a skills check only session. Length of time: ~1 - 1½ hours for the online module and ~½ hour for the skills check.
To begin the online CPR course, login to the HealthStream Learning Center, click Catalog and search for "CPR".
You must register for a skills-check only class (see registration below) and bring your certificate of completion. Note: Staff must demonstrate CPR skills without coaching according to the new guidelines. If you do not pass the skills check, you will be required to attend our regular CPR class session.

UC Davis employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.

Parking
Parking is available in lot 25, approximately one block from the Broadway Building on 50th Street adjacent to the M.I.N.D. Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $5.
