Cardiovascular Nursing Review
Course description
This course will review the:
- Pathophysiology of atherosclerosis and chest pain
- Interventions performed in the cardiac cath lab
- Signs and symptoms of CHF and CABG and the current treatment modalities
- Anticoagulation goals and therapy post heart value surgery
- Procedures conducted in electrophysiology
- Important aspects of cardioversion, transesophageal echo and the tilt table test
C.E. credit
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 7.2 contact hours.

UC Davis employees
$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.
Community registrants
$72 registration fee. Refund must be requested five days prior to class date and will be subject to a $25 service charge.

Parking
Parking is available in lot 25, approximately one block from the Broadway Building on 50th Street next to the M.I.N.D. Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $4.
