Course description

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the relationship of ECG to Coronary Artery anatomy
  • Recognize the S-T segment of the hyper acute phase of an MI
  • Describe identifying features of the various rhythms (Tachycardia and Bradycardia)
  • Demonstrate the ability to interpret ECG strips

Prerequisite

Must have attended a basic dysrhythmia class. Bring calipers.

C. E. credit

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 4.0 contact hours.

UC Davis Medical Center is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

UC Davis employees

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund.

Community registrants

$60 registration fee. Refund must be requested five days prior to class date and will be subject to a $25 service charge.

Parking

Parking is available in lot 25, approximately one block from the Broadway Building on 50th Street next to the M.I.N.D. Institute. Park with a UC Davis parking permit, or purchase a daily permit for $4.
