The Office of Continuing Medical Education has created these courses as an outreach for UC Davis Health System physicians.
Sedation Training Program - internal training for UC Davis Health System staff
This Sedation Training Program is designed to be used by UC Davis Health System physicians and staff. This program has been reviewed and approved by the health system's Sedation Workgroup and meets the training requirements for the granting of sedation privileges at the health system.
Two hours of Category 1 credit will be recorded on your annual Continuing Medical Education transcript following completion of the training module, evaluation form and the quiz (80% or better passing grade). Your quiz results will automatically be e-mailed to you, the UC Davis Health System Continuing Medical Education office and Medical Staff Administration, Credentials Unit.
Gerald Upcraft, M.D. has generously offered this Sedation Training Program for use by UC Davis Health System physicians and staff.

Free Self Study Modules - 12 hours of Pain Management for UC Davis Health Physicians
California Assembly Bill 487 - California state law now requires California physicians to obtain a minimum of 12 hours of Category 1 continuing medical education credit in pain management by December 31, 2006. (exception: Radiologists and Pathologists) The following series has been designated to help you meet this requirement. Category 1 credit for this series is free for UC Davis Health System physicians.
