California Assembly Bill 487 - California state law now requires California physicians to obtain a minimum of 12-hours of Category 1 continuing medical education credit in pain management by December 31, 2006.  (exception: Radiologists and Pathologists)

The Office of Continuing Medical Education has created these courses as an outreach for California physicians. This series was created without any pharmaceutical support. It features UC Davis pain specialists who are faculty physicians in the field of pain and palliative medicine. The program however, is designed for primary care physicians.
