Center for Health and Technology
"Telemedicine has proven to be a viable solution in addressing the health care needs of underserved populations. Although telecommunications and information technology have the power to overcome many disparities in health care, they are not being used to their full potential.
Our goal is to provide an education center where practitioners, administrators, managers, and telemedicine coordinators can develop the skills and knowledge needed to enhance the quality of health care in their communities."

The Center for Health and Technology's Telehealth Education Program is accredited by the American Telemedicine Association.
Since November 1999, the Center for Health & Technology (CHT) has provided telehealth courses for more than 1,700 health care professionals, from CEO's and medical doctors to technicians and clinic coordinators.
The hands-on, multidisciplinary training approach is what makes the CHT's telehealth educational courses such a highly successful and sought after program.
