Videoconferencing
|
Videoconferencing allows medical experts within the health system to provide education to remote locations without having to leave the Health System. This service provides physician and nursing education and, due to the interactive nature of videoconferencing, the health system is also able to provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) credit for participation. Medical professionals can remain in their own community while learning and earning professional credits thereby saving travel time and costs coupled with better use of professional time. Videoconferencing allows health care professionals to participate in a variety of presentations and administrative meetings between the Health System located in Sacramento, the UC Davis campus, and various sites located throughout California and internationally. |
