Telehealth at UC Davis Health began as a telefetal monitoring connection with a rural hospital in 1992 and evolved to become the Center for Health and Technology in 2000. Since 1996, our team has provided more than 42,000 telemedicine consultations across 50 counties to over 200 sites.
Our neonatal telehealth program is one of the largest in the country, expanding its reach through the center's internationally recognized and accredited education program, providing leadership in the creation of the California Telehealth Network, effecting change through collaboration on telehealth policy, and advancing eHealth adoption throughout the state.
Our team is dedicated to creating new models of care through technology-enabled clinical services, research, training and education. We're constantly forming new partnerships and identifying innovative ways to collaborate with health care professionals across the nation.
We're housed in the same building as Health Sciences Educational Services, so we're perfectly positioned to provide a variety of interprofessional and simulation-based learning opportunities for learners at any stage in their career.
