AsthmaDiabetes: Dining with Diabetes
Dining with Diabetes is a 2 hour class focusing on nutrition. Taught by a registered dietitian, this class covers topics such as:
- Carbohydrate counting
- Meal planning
- Cooking
- Shopping
- Eating away from home
The classes are open to UC Davis Health System patients. These classes are offered in the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Center (Ellison Building) in Sacramento and UC Davis Medical Groups in Elk Grove, Folsom, Davis, Rancho Cordova, Carmichael and Auburn. Please note: all classes are subject to cancellation if enrollment is insufficient. In the event of a cancellation, all enrolled individuals will be notified prior to the start of the class.
